What is powder coating technology?

Instead of using traditional liquid paint (spray gun), a dry powder made up of very fine granules is used.

Electrostatic spraying: The powder granules become positively charged, while the metal surface of the cooktop becomes negatively charged.

Adhesion: Thanks to electrostatic attraction, the powder adheres to the metal very evenly, even in hard-to-reach corners.

Oven: The coated part is placed in a large, heat-treated oven, where the powder melts and transforms into a smooth, very strong, “plastic/hard” layer.

Advantages of using powder coating:

Scratch resistance: Much stronger than regular paint, so if a pan hits the cooktop, the coating won’t easily peel off.
